About Tidy Bot

Tidy Bot is a relaxing 3D cleaning game. Drive a little robot vacuum around cosy rooms, suck up every speck of dirt, collect coins and get back to the dock before the battery runs out. Play 30 handmade levels across living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and dining rooms, then try Endless mode, which builds a brand new room every round. Spend coins on battery, speed and side brush upgrades, and choose Easy, Medium or Hard difficulty.

There is no account behind Tidy Bot and no progress to lose. Close the tab mid-round and the guide you were reading is exactly where you left it.

Treat this as the pause it is meant to be: two rounds, then back to the page you were actually reading.

How to Play

  1. Press play on the frame above. Tidy Bot starts in the same tab; no window pops up and nothing downloads.
  2. Controls, as published with the game: mouse or touch drag anywhere to drive the robot.
  3. Expect the first round to be a warm-up. The rules are simple; the difficulty sits in the pacing, not in the buttons.
  4. Close the tab when you are done. There is no save file to manage and no account to log out of.

Before You Press Play

One device, one tab. Opening three games at once is how a five-minute gap becomes an hour.
These games reward a plan. Look at the whole board before the first move; the second look is usually the better one.
Play the first attempt badly on purpose. Learning where the board punishes you is faster than reading instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tidy Bot

Does Tidy Bot have in-app purchases or hidden costs?

No. There is nothing to buy inside Tidy Bot - no energy systems, no premium currency and no pay-to-win items. The game is supported by advertising on the page, which is why it can stay free for everyone.

Can I play Tidy Bot on a school or work Chromebook?

Usually yes. Chromebooks run everything through the browser, which is exactly what an HTML5 game like Tidy Bot needs. Lighter 2D titles run especially well on modest hardware, and nothing has to be installed, which suits managed devices.

Can I play Tidy Bot on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Tidy Bot is built for mobile browsers as well as desktop, and touch controls are detected automatically. Racing and arcade titles usually feel best in landscape orientation, while slower games work fine held upright. Close background apps first on older phones so the game gets enough memory.

The controls in Tidy Bot do not respond when I press keys.

Browsers only send keyboard input to the part of the page you last clicked on. Click once inside the game area and then try the keys again. On mobile, make sure no overlay is covering the screen and that gesture navigation is not swallowing your taps.

Is it safe to play Tidy Bot online?

Yes. Browser games run inside a security sandbox and cannot install software or touch your files. The real risk on free gaming sites is fake download buttons, so decline any prompt to install something, never grant notification or camera permissions, and keep your browser updated.

My device gets warm and the battery drains while playing Tidy Bot. Is that normal?

Active gameplay makes the processor work harder, so some warmth and battery use are normal for graphically busy games. If the device feels uncomfortably hot, pause and let it cool for a few minutes, and close background apps so the game is not competing for resources.

Which browser works best for Tidy Bot?

Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari handles it well. The important things are an up-to-date browser, JavaScript enabled and hardware acceleration switched on. If one browser misbehaves, opening the same page in another is the fastest diagnosis.

Is Tidy Bot good for a short break?

That is exactly what it is designed for. Rounds are short, nothing needs to be downloaded, and there is no account or commitment - open the page, play a few minutes, close it. Many players keep Tidy Bot open in a pinned tab for exactly this purpose.

Can I play Tidy Bot with friends or other players?

Some browser games include live multiplayer, but Tidy Bot is a single-player title. A friendly way to compete is to compare high scores with someone playing on their own device, since scores are saved locally for each player.

How do I restart Tidy Bot or start a fresh run?

Most rounds restart from the game's own menu or the restart button on the end screen. If you want a completely clean state, reload the page. Clearing local storage resets saved scores too, but remember that also erases your best results.

Why did Tidy Bot freeze after I switched to another tab or app?

Browsers pause background tabs to save resources, and some games lose focus as a result. Return to the tab, click once inside the game area to restore focus, and if the session still looks stuck, a fresh reload is the simplest fix - your locally saved score stays.

Been through a lot of browser games this year and Tidy Bot is one of the keepers. It does one thing and does it well. Four stars only because I want more variety in later stages.

Works fine on the school Chromebook, which is where most of my playing happens. Nothing to install means nothing for the IT filter to complain about. Solid game.

Runs beautifully on my ancient 2015 laptop, which I did not expect. Tidy Bot loads fast, plays smooth, takes no space. Old hardware owners, this one is for you.
